Bonds – Difficult Buy These Days
I rarely discuss bonds here which could be seen as surprising since it is a huge market, one that every investor ends up buying in. The explosion of ETF’s has also made it much easier and affordable to invest in as well. it has even made it possible to create fully diversified retirement ETF portfolios.

Does the IRS Accept Scanned Documents?
I’ve spent a good bit of time digitizing paperwork over the past couple of years. My primary weapon in this battle has been a sheet-fed scanner, though I sometimes snap pics with my iPhone and turn them into “scanned” pdfs using JotNot.

US Dollar Mixed in Forex Trading
Greek news, economy sends mixed signals to greenback
The US dollar is mixed in forex trading on the currency market today as an interesting situation arises. On one hand, Greek officials are trying to make it clear that they are attempting to meet austerity goals.
Fed Speak and the ECB Should Provide A Small Bid. Quiet Week Ahead
This has the makings of a very quiet week. Earnings season is winding down and the economic releases are light. Stocks have good momentum, but the market is bumping up against major resistance. Greece has not reached an agreement with private investors and that is weighing on the market. Unions across the country are striking and that is making investors nervous. Greek officials are trying to draft austerity measures that would lay off 15,000 public sector workers by the end of 2012. The minimum wage would be cut by 20% and they are also trying to reduce pension benefits by 20%.
SNB to Intervene in the Currency Market
The Swiss National Bank (SNB) will enforce its minimum rate of 1.2 Swiss francs per euro and is ready to buy unlimited amounts of foreign currency in any global interbank market, said interim president Thomas Jordan on Tuesday.
The SNB introduced the 1.2 francs-per-euro cap in September to stem the Swiss currency appreciation in an effort to relieve the pressure on the country’s exporters and prevent the risk of deflation.
RBA Opts To Keep Rates On Hold, Sending AUDUSD Higher
Source: Advanced Currency Markets | G10 Advancers and Decliners vs USD CHF 0.19 EUR 0.18 GBP 0.03 JPY -0.10 AUDUSD has powered higher overnight as the RBA shocked the market by keeping interest rates on hold at 4.25%. The consensus view was that the Australian central bank would opt to cut rates by 25bps for the third time in a row; but instead, policymakers deemed the current interest rate appropriate for now. It is likely that RBA members wish to allow the effect of the last two cuts to feed through…

Microvision,
Uh, can´t help much but I have bad "habit" to buy some of these little trouble some companies usually during the january-february. This one got some-what positive feedback for this i-product (they are currently designing new one with alliance of another company which have sound also).
Company potentially used so called fire-sale to fund them more few years back which also leaded to destroy current shareholders equity. At times it was however more close of 4 or 5 bucks stock.

Daily Market Commentary: Consolidation
Markets eased up on light volume, consolidating Friday's gains. The semiconductor index suffered the worst of the selling, but its losses were well within the boundaries of a pullback.
While the Russell 2000 flashed a potential bearish harami cross; look for a retracement to the rising trendline.

Minimize Your Load (36/365)
Depending on the specific model, your car loses 1-2% fuel efficiency for every 100 pounds of extra weight in the car. That’s a surprising amount that can really add up.
For example, let’s say you’re matching the extra weight that a friend of mine (who we’ll call Cathy) carries in her car. She consistently carries (mostly) unused car seats in the back seat of your car, plus she hauls around a box of books in the trunk along with a few other excess items. The sum total of that extra load is about 70 pounds.

March S&P E-mini Futures: Today's day session range estimate is 1329-1340. The longer term trend is upward. A rally from the November 25 low at 1147.50 which matches the size of the October rally would bring the ES to 1370.
QQQ: Headed for 63.
TNX (ten year note yield): The 10 year yield has started a move to 2.50%.

TOIL AND TRUBBLE:
Recent Sentiment (and breadth) data has shown the most remarkable extremes that I can ever remember, in the 7 years or more of writing this blog! Let me count the ways:
The DJIA and S&P 500 hit all time record point gains for a January; the NASDAQ reached an 11-year high last week. The 2011 high for the SPX was 1365 - it closed Friday at 1344.
My cumulative Advance/Decline indicator continues to make new all time highs; NAZ Volume to NYSE indicates speculation; the VIX is at a relative extreme low of 17.
